DCM Bling Card

OK - here is the *Bling!* card for this week's Daring Cardmaker's challenge. I stamped the butterfly, coloured it as a Ulysses Butterfly from Far North Qld with watercolour pencils, attached the 'Got Flowers?' flowers with beads, then used gold lettering stickers for the Happy Birthday. I sponged around the edges of the butterfly with black and blue ink (ruined my blue ink pad, too! hint - use lighter colours BEFORE darker colours) then stamped some Kaiser stamp leaves on a piece of gold paper, and attached it all to white glossy cardstock. Voila! A beady bling card just right for my MIL's birthday :-D She does love Ulysses butterflies.

This is pretty, Susan.

I think we saw these butterflies when we were in Port Douglas a few years back - if they are the ones I'm thinking of they were beautiful

I'm sure it will be well received by your MIL !

thanks much for your comments for Deborah - you came by when I was just putting up images only ! lol - filled in the blanks now ! Yes did the swap thing with Gillian ! Yes those fab Heidi Swapp large florals - made a Romance card with it just !

Well anytime you need more mileage out of your stash - do a swap ! with someone near or far !

What we can't use , someone else can ! This I've learnt thru the years ! lol
