Last one for today

Finally I tackled the last card, made for a young man who is having a hard time at present. I wanted to encourage him and Psalm 27 just leapt to mind. I thought it fit with the light of the sun and this is the result.I spent some time playing with water colours and glitter to make the sun pop out a bit, but maybe I would do it differently next time. In 'real life' the colours do blend together better and the glitter is more obvious. I see I also need to get better at following straight lines when I write words. I still think he will appreciate it though.

Susan,
I love these cards. You did good to be so creative with them and get them all done in one day. Had you thought out what you wanted to do in advance? I find I spend much more time in coming up with the idea than with the actual production. It's the same with my quilting. Once I have a firm design they go together in no time at all.

I wouldn't worry about keeping your lines perfectly straight when you write on a card. Especially when you are printing. I think less than straight lines adds to the interest. If you wanted perfectly straight and uniforn writing you could print it out on a computer using card stock.

Keep up the good work

Great cards Susan!! The *girlie* one is just too cute! Also, love the encouragment card, the 27th Psalm is *perfect*. And I like that its handwritten - adds a personal touch. :o)
