I went fishing today and seriously considered using a fishing hook for this challenge. I have used a hook in the past. I posted the card with a turtle to show you how I've used a fish hook :-)
This new card is a simpler card - it's meant for a 12 year old boy. I used brushed silver metal brads, silver metallic pen, and a soft drink ring pull to make the buckle. I generated the numbers by computer and coloured them in with the gel pen. The doodle rick rack was just a fine tipped black felt pen. I used a die-cut for the oval shape - no freehand this time!

I had to look twice when you said you'd used a ring-pull Susan! What a clever idea - hhmmmm I bet you can use alcohol inks on those too.....

Gotta love the recyling thing Susan... I love using ring pulls too..they always catch a bit of attention..esp from non scrappers or cardmakers.. I love them both.. Great work..

I had considered using a drink tab for a buckle for this challenge too - great minds think alike.
I didn't in the end and did this instead.
