Blush!

Thanks to all of you lovely people for leaving such wonderful comments on my blog! I was overwhelmed and delighted to receive your feedback. Being a member of the Daring Cardmaker's has been an amazing experience for me - it's lovely to have found you all! (I actually blushed with pleasure at reading all of your comments.)

I have been doodling another card in between all the other activities around here today. I am usually very slow at making my cards but am getting a little speedier. Sometimes I get an idea and everything just flows - other times it's painstaking work that takes DAYS! Kwim? The fast ones are few and far between. Anyway, I took inspiration from a biscuit tin I have all of my pens in for the broder of this one. It's my interpretation of their Victorian embellishment. I used copper, green and gold gel pens and a fine black felt pen to make the designs. The whole card is drawn work 'cept for the brads and paper/vellum/ribbon. It's a bit sparkly too - though there is NO embossing powder on this one :-)

Hi Susan,

Another amazing card, I love the corner details, they are so intricate. dont worry about cards taking ages to make, sometimes it takes me a week just to make one i actually like!

Glad you are enjoying our dares :D

I really like this one. It is funny how an idea springs to life when you least expect it.
The police still haven't bothered to come round. thankfuly the owners of the shop have got it secured but I half expect the one under me to get attacked next. My landlord was very lucky today he might not be so next time... I have warned him so he can drive by a few times.
Im happier knowing I will be here tonight in case my window is broken...

Wow Susan - what a fab card - I clicked to get the bigger picture -those corner doodles are amazing.

I am very slow with some of my cards - the strange thing is that some of the ones that look incredibly simple are the ones that take me ages in thinking up the design! LOL

So pleased you are enjoing the dares - we have so many regulars now on the blog and I hope that you are now going to become a regular too :-)
