Chocolate Bar Sliders

When you need a special gift in a hurry, here's an idea that may help. Make a sleeve for a chocolate bar and decorate it to suit the occasion! I have made a number of these over the years and really liek the way people's eyes light up when they receive a gift like this. It helps to know what the recipient's favourite chocolate bar is, but I find plain chocolate seems welcome by many. Here's the latest one i made:

You can see I chose a Cadbury plain chocolate bar for this gift. I also selected Elegant Eggplant and Melon Mambo cardstock, then used the Birthday Candles wheel and the coordinating Label Love stamps and Artisan Label Punch to finish decorating. I snuck some retired polka dot ribbon in there too.

If you want to know how to make these little gifts, you can find out how by following this link to PaperCraftCentral.

Oh Susan thank you for posting this. The elegant eggplant goes well with Cadbury. But if you are making one for me it has to be Lindt Dark Choc thank you very much!! hehe.haha.
You are so right. These always bring a smile to people's faces.
